Easy Model Railroad Inventory

This is a piece of software that lets you manage inventory for your model railroad.

Easy Model Railroad Inventory will let you manage inventory all of your model railroad rolling stock, locomotives and cars, the structures, electronic equipment, book collection and so on. You will need to get all the information in for your existing material, of course at first. Unless you’ve started this inventory program even before you have purchased a single item of the railroad model. Once the information has been entered, you could view, query, report, and graph what you have. The database may also include photographs that help identify items easily. The data can be viewed in several report formats, including pie charts, and spreadsheets besides text reports. The tool will even let you print the NMRA Insurance Valuation Sheet so that your model assets could be insured. The printed report format is acceptable to the NMRA and insurance companies.

To help you document the inventory completely you can add optional fields to the database records. Report, query, cross reference and spreadsheet designers help create report formats in the most convenient arrangement. Car cards, way bills and time tables as well as switch lists can be printed out as needed. There is a library module that helps you manage your own book collection additionally. A connection with the Library of Congress is available that can speed up entry of book details. The interface too is fairly well designed to support the rich functionality, a large array of details can be managed with this tool.
